Friday was a happy day! I got a phonecall that made me SO excited! :)

My darling Slut came to pick me and a friend up and we went to Wine bar for awhile...

Met quite a few friends there... Becoming lazier to whip up my camera to take pics.. Same old la

MOS too big and the crowd's too mixed, Zouk somehow is more homely in a way.. but too cliche...

Anyhow I was like an hr late to Hideout.. but not everyone was on time either.. :P

I've quit smoking for year 2006 and will cut down on drinking from start of Chinese New Year too!

New Paper today showed how much older you look if you drink excessively! Gross.

Chinese New Year Eve : Reunion Dinner...



Went to my paternal grandma's place for dinner... So rowdy!

Yu Sheng! Me like.. Had abalone together with salmon!

I don't go out on Chinese New Year Eve... It's like the only eve of a holiday that I don't stepped out at all..

This is the only request my dad strongly insists on.

Something like if the children stays home till past midnight at home, the longer the parents will live.

Well, superstitious perhaps but whatever makes him happy!

Lull in London

I was supposed to take the Circle Line to go to Knightsbridge where Harrods is, but KNOW WAT??

Like some person OR a body was on the line cos i couldn't!

Anyway, thankfully i cld take the Picadilly line there as well!




Went to Harrods especially for my gf to help her get some tea!

I REFUSED to walk around cos everything sure pricey lor, and in pounds too, like times 3 sg dollars!




Took Metro to Leicester Square to meet my dear friend who's working in London...

Snapped some pics of buildings and stuff while waiting for him..

There were some people doin filming of some sorts, but i didn't recognise those being flimed so didn't bother..

I LOVE London for the main fact that everything's in English!

N i've been here like 6 times in my life, and there're still things i've yet to see!




Yes, my friend whom i've known for a decade!

He's a malaysian, and now happily GAY and PR in London! Another SLUT!

But he totally changed his appearance this year, looks so working class and mature huh?!

Wasn't quite used to it.. I like him w/o glasses and his long hair and his slacks!




He brought me to this restaurant in China town.. Ordered a famous Hongkong drink for me.. it's tea mixed with coffee!

We had Loads to eat! Had some pseudo substitute for Peking Duck..

Wasn't too bad, but the original Peking Duck's way better!

Had the famous duck and pork with rice meal too.. But I prefer the one at Four Seasons, at Bayswater station in London...

My friend's shop above.. Used the internet while i was there.. Free!

His friend's cafe nearby.. I cld get Free bubble tea cos he's friendly with the owner.. heh




The escalators in London metro are so long!

Everyone's supposed to stand on the right if not climbing up/down...

Good practice i feel...

In Singapore everyone stands everywhere! But then again, the escalators are short so i guess it's ok...


My PEK CEK story...



Was trying to find the BBC Television Centre to go for the guided tour..

But the concierge told me to go to Euston Square and walk, then when i reached there, was told to go to Oxford Circus..

Ok FINE. so i went and walked and i finally reached BBC!

BUT it's NOT the tele centre it was at White City!

And I had to book a day in advance so no pt heading there... STupid Concierge! Said can book there and then.



So, i decided to walk ard the area since I was there.. and saw a Marble Arch sign.

Asked how far to walk, someone said 15 mins. so i was like, wat the heck, walk lor..

BUT IT's NOT 15 mins! like half an hr at least! N there was a train station just there!

N i cldn't even cross the road to get to the Marble Arch cos the road was SO busy!

I stood across just trying to take a good pic of it! it's just a normal arch like those i saw in Paris!




Was supposed to meet my friend before goin to Princess Diana's memorial..

But since i was nearer already and he wasn't done with work, I went ahead.

N noe wat? i was supposed to alight at the next station, Queensway but the metro announced that it wasn't goin to stop there! HUH. sway.

So i alighted at Notting Hill instead and decided to walk.

But i found out from a cyclist that the walk is pretty far and it wasn't safe for a gal alone in the park when it's dark.

He suggested that i go and see Princess Diana's cafe, cos the memorial doesn't have anything but a fountain.

I went in, and asked the owners. Apparently the memorial closes at 1700 and by the time i was there, it was 1730!

CRAP! ARGH!



Saw this Notting Hill cafe that reminded me of Notting Hill, the movie.

Was supposed to meet my friend at Soho to club, but decided to just have dinner nearby with colleagues and stay in.

They were reporting incidents about HAPPY SLAPPING ard streets and it spook me up quite abit.

In any case i walked so much already, i was lazy to do so anymore!




The next day the group of five stayed in the hotel to play cards and blind man's bluff! haha.

The room was so small we kept bumping into things.. it was so funny!

N i found out my two gfs were guides too, like myself! ha




We just head out for our meals and went to get some foodstuff at Waitrose supermarket...

Was supposed to meet another friend for dinner, but we were both tired so didn't...

Bovril! The black stuff you put in porridge, they dun sell it in sg anymore!

Basically this trip to London was like the lullest ever!

I didn't meet all my friends in London this time and didn't really see or head out much!

But it's all cool. I watched DVDs!

Went to Town to watch Memoirs of a Geisha.. It's nice i like it!

When i heard the part of how Zhang Ziyi personifies water, it totally reminded me of myself!

Cos i think i'm like water too... in all sense of the word and what it stands for.. :)

Too bad I don't have ash blue eyes!

Went to Senso for dinner.. I made reservations...

I LOVE the food there! Italian!




The food was delicious, the servings weren't that big but still filling...

Price wise definitely towards the higher end side but still reasonable..

They had a complimentary tiramisu cake brought out for those celebrating their bdays!




He's so happy and pleased! Diving in for the kill!

They were supposed to bring in the cake like after the main course but it came out only after the dessert!

So i made noise and guess wat?? They didn't include the dessert prices! Saved bit of money!

Tsk, no WONDER sporeans love to complain! We're encouraged to!

Didn't party and went home pretty early as i had work the next day, bah!

Indon Dinner + MOS/Zouk

I think it's a sin being too nice sometimes...

I spent like 3 hrs listening to 3 people trying to 'impart' to me their 'knowledge'...

Eg1: Some dude stopped me at Bugis MRT and asked me to answer a 4 question survey.. n i said fine.

THEN he went on to say A WHOLE load of stuff, you know like what those recruitment agencies staff would do...

N said the boss of XXX company may call me up and said to be open minded.

HELLO!!? Telling me what to do??

IN the first place I was reluctant to give the number till he said it was to prove that the person he surveyed existed.

BLUFF!! So i kinda just walked off after saying "enough!" and gave the Talk-to-the-Hand sign

Maybe it's cos i just wasn't interested.. BTW my attention span maxes out at 2hrs..

ANyhow, i managed to run all my errands, yay! Lucky for me it didn't rain, quite hot though..




Gf back from sydney so we met up! Had a nice time catching up and blabbering




Ate at The Indonesian Restaurant at Riverside Walk.. The food is super yumz!

All of us were damn full!

We popped over to Brewerkz for some drinks... I had mango margarita! Quite strong xia...




Met a uni friend and found one of his friends familiar!

He was the FIRST SINGAPOREAN to climb Mt. Everest!!

Fluid + Home Bar

I stayed in yesterday, i totally slept through this sorta private party at AtticaOne!!! Must be tired man.

A colleague was spinning and like 40 over party colleagues/friends were going!

All free entry + 40% of ALL drinks man

It'd been fun But oh well. Sleep is GOoooooOoD.

First day of Spring Cleaning me room!

Started with my dressing table and all my rubbish!!! *clap*

Wa so spacious now I can buy more stuff.. ha

N my DAMN SUPER DUPER CUTE nephews came to play too!!





The younger one is a splitting image of my brother when he was young! No kidding!!

He's like freaking 10kg can?! damn heavy.. i carry him like lifting weights...

Went to China Town to get some goodies and to eat....

CLAYPOT FROG LEG PORRIDGE!!!!! and Raw Fish. Yum!!!

BUT now the frog legs they are giving DAMN little compared to before...

And the raw fish slices are much thinner!!!
