Crew Room

Last thursday at Crew Room after the Athens trip! Some of us went at night after touch down.. wore my new Mango top!



That's me with my new hair trim! N i colored my hair copper red. Didn't leave it on for too long thou.




Ate at this pasta place nearby... its rivolli's super yumz!

Tell me, my guy friend on the phone looks how gay lor! (but he's not la) ha




Crew Room where one of my friends has a share in... It's quite a nice place and drinks are rather cheap...

We drank, sang and played games..

I think i'm getting real good at the different dice and finger games!




Hopped down to velvet after where we reserved a table...

N met some other friends...




I actually drank a tad too much, but stopped myself before I could get worse.

Went to sleep in the toilet for abit. THank god it wasn't crowded.

YES. SLEEP.

I'm the sort that needs to rest for awhile after drinking abit and will be fine.

Greece!! Greasy. ha




Had dinner at this grill joint nearby with colleagues..

The servings in greece are extremely huge!

My party gf also went there with me..

I wanted to check out the pub/cafe area at Glyfada but some of us decided to stay in the room and drink/play cards..




Took the hotel shuttle to the town area for lunch the next day..




Jus mucking ard in town..




Finally decided on lunch place...

Food's really salty and huge.. N they take damn long to serve...




I had hot choco! Me like!!!

The manager, Louis, is quite the "perv" He kissed all the gals' hands and even fed my colleague a bite!

The bazaar and some lovely restaurants we walked through on our way to Acropolis...

I bought some souvenirs, and wanted to have my name wired in Greek, but the man who did it was nowhere to be found. oh wellz.

Also got some candies from the Traditional Greek food store..








Within the Acropolis are building statues of the Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon and others whose names i'm not sure of... heh

Great view and touched marble stones!

Actually most of the stones are rebuilt, only some left untouched.. it's jus this vast piece of stone land..

Usually it's 12 euros but since it was a public holiday so it was free for us! yay!




Went into the mini museum...




Wonder if it's some carvings or someone did some damage to the marble..

Can you see the stone stature on the grass patch? It's the Temple of Zeus.. We went down to it later...

The breeze from above is amazing! It was so hot and only this area had wind and my gf found the spot!




Went down town and took this pic.. looks like it's some club but it's actually a door way for a fashion boutique...

I didn't wana go shopping but my gf did so we went to Levis, Miss Sixties and Mango..

I bought two tops from Mango! More than my gf and i didn't wana shop! argh.

This dude from the city street stopped me and cut this pic of me within a min!

I wanted to walk away cos i didn't wana pay him but he said it's ok..

N he really didn't force me to pay or wat when he was done..

Maybe that was a subtle ploy but it worked. I gave him 1 euros. heh





Took cab to Mikrolimeno for seafood dinner!!!

There are quite a few restaurants and nice cafes all around this lakeside area..




We settled for this restaurant cos there was swordfish and the tables are nicely decorated! heh

Those 'stones' i was holding were actually salt and pepper weights!

The crabstick salad, prawns and drunkard mussels were yummy but the main course wasn't so nice..

My swordfish wasn't too bad but the others hated theirs...

As usual we waited ten million yrs b4 the food came and they dared to ask us for tips on top of charging for service!!! wa.

Was really quite beat after the long day and jus slept through..

Hey.. I'm back!

This trip to Dubai/Cairo was FANTASTIC!! Save for MAJOR BOOBOO.. FOod poisoning in Egypt!!

That Totally spoilt my time man. I was dying on my flight back to Dubai from Cairo.

I wanted to see more of Dubai, like check out the city centre, the club called Trilogy and also the world famous Hotel surrounded by a moat..

oh well. next time!

I had to passenger back as i had an MC and was certified unfit to work.

Unfortunately the flight i was supposed to take had some changes so i had to leave the crew whom i had spent 7days with and come back on another flight..

Plus, there was this lazy bugger colleague takin same flt back and he din help me carry my luggage (i can do myself but offer la, i sick leh) and my freakin skirt flew up and the Arabs were jus staring!! PISSED!

To make things worse, the stupid ground staff did not have a record of me being on the plane! So i was super irritated and upset!

Anyhow, after making a little fuss, i got on my way back to sg. Thank God i saw a friend on flight.. familiar faces during these times sure helped.

N now I'm home, i miss my bed and can't freaking sleep cos the damn knocking next door is still goin now and it's RIGHT NEXT to my room!

Like knock bit harder can knock through the wall kind... ?!?!

I just shouted a real loud "shut UP!" N the knocking seemingly became softer.. could they really hear me?? ha.

A very close friend of mine drew this painting. His FIRST real one. He's in NYC now. I'm so darn proud of him la.

He named this "Dwell" and said it means whatever it means to YOU.

I think i've got mine figured out. (got so many other things to figure out thou. sigh)

But prolly will stare at it more and post pics of my trips after i sleep.

I managed to run all the errands I noted to do yesterday! yay.

But not the ones today due to some unforseen situation in the office. :(

Anyhow, I went to Crew Room (prinsep street) and then Velvet last night.

Howdie!

I'm back from Greece!! Got a slight tan on my shoulders, think it'd be worse after my next trip!

Tired like hell but got quite a bit of errands to run before heading to Egypt tmr!

So dragging myself outta bed... Long day ahead..

The flight to Athens was great.. colleagues were wonderful..

But we had to detour to Dubai as we had someone who kinda relapsed from a heart attack.. So on the way up we had longer hours.. super shacked. Hope he's better thou.

N i also have gotten a HUGE bruise on me bum! I fell down some steps.. but thank God i didn't hit my head or sth..

It was a straight fall.. ha, OUCH.

Alrighty, time to get ready and head out...

So it's my good gf's bday yesterday!!! she had a celebration at her place!

I was so irritated early in the morning cos there's yet ANOTHER drilling going on!

One after another! Like my whole neighbourhood's moving out or sth. argh!

Freaking started at 9am can?! I went to find ear plugs and managed to sleep at ard 11am i think.. So goddamn tired from the night b4..

Concussed till afternoon, good thing they work half days on Saturdays...






I watched the rerun of Ms Singapore! I thought Jade Seah was the hottest though.. oh well.

My gf apparently called more pple than she thought! ha.

But still it was good fun, seeing pple i haven't seen for awhile now, food was great and so were the many dogs! ha

I went for work and was rather tired.

Friday...

It's Tiesto Day but somehow the anticipation was built up for so long it kinda simmered down on this actual day..




Went to St Michel's Church for mass in the noon and then dinner at this vegetarian restaurant!

It's really nice and i loved the ambience.. :)

There was this dish on the menu.. "MagiC MushRooms!" ha. It's a kinda Happy Drug legal in Holland..

So i was like, yea let's order it! Of course, knowin it's not some illegal poo la..

It was yummy!




Went to Walas to grab some drinks..

I drank a lychee martini before my other friends came and whipped me up to go to MOS!

The drinks in wala are pretty concentrated! good stuff!

Saw SO SO SO many friends! It was like 'hey hey hey' like every 10 secs..

I decided NOT to take any pics at all. Yes, i mentioned i jus felt lazy these two days... (more or less repeated faces also)

Plus, it was so damn packed you really couldn't move much anywayz.

I dislike being stuck like a pack of sardines so I jus rotted in the VIP room upstairs..

Where there was a great view of Tiesto (his back) and his sets!

Didn't stay all the way thou.. left just slightly after 3 am and went to friend's house to chill till wee hours in the morning..
