L.A Pt I - Sights

To L.A!!!! Land of Glitz and Glamour (in General)




On SQ to L.A via Tokyo! I wanted to eat Japanese food on board ma... My galfriend was on board so we got great service and champagne!

Managed to take pics from airplane view.. dun get many chances to do that while working!




I ALWAYS thought the signboard was how amusing! "See My La" haha

We went to this pub at Santa Monica for Xmas dinner and drinks!

They have an open karaoke system.. It's damn funny how some people sing and mimic..




Can I want to tell you the veal steak MAJORLY SUCKED?! yes!

But the drinks were good.. they were like 90% alcohol and a splash of whatever mix i think??

Unlike sg which is the TOTAL opposite!




Xmas Clan! Met up with my friends in L.A!

About 6 of us went shopping at Glendale the next day! Post Xmas Sale!!!

There were some camera peeps there, the usual tv presenters videoing stuff again...

N this female presenter said to us that we looked damn good at 6am! heh

Of course I bought heaps of things la.. I didn't buy any Coach or Guess bags but I'm DAMN PLEASED with my purchases!

Went to Farmers Market a.k.a The Grove later.. My chio topcoat from NYC!

Shopping there's not bad too but the sights were so pretty! There was a musical fountain and decorations!

There's the famous Cheesecake Factory! I had to get my hands on some and we did!

Had dinner at Maggianos! He likes Italian! yum

The portions are HUGE! Like a CUP is bowl size.. then BowL is like how man?!

Took Metro to Hollywood!

The ticketing system is damn lousy la.. like you can seriously NOT buy a tick and walk in and out!

We got ticks though but no gates or wat n no one was checkin..




Universal Studios!!!! Been here before.. some things have changed and some stayed the same...

Took the Studio Tour first...

The horror castle in Van Helsing.. I heard it's damn scary.. but not really leh.. Think it's cos too many people that day...

We went for all the rides (except ONE cos we JUS missed the last timing) and shows etc!

It's one of those games where you throw a basketball thru the loop and get a huge toy..

But CHECK OUT THE RIM!!! IT's Bloody OVAL shaped!!




The Mummy Ride's my FAVOURITE!!! It's the least nonexciting one of all!

Yea cos I think pple pay good money to just erm see nothing much.. ha.

Like be a child for a day and fulfill some fantasy ba..




Special effects stage place and BackDraft... The fire was TMD hot la!

The queues were so darn long .. Shack!

Candy Floss - I like! (The gal behind happened to be in the pic, and she was givin me some OFF look so she's ERASED!)




Time to go home...

Best Actress Award goes to MOI! (for lasting the whole day and smiling at the peeps in the queue when i actually am screaming in my head BUZZ Off!

I've been to Madam Tussads so i THOUGHT hollywood wld be alright.. BUT NO!

I swear if not for the tags, i'd have NO IDEA who the people were man.. of course some movie characters were obvious la




Guinness was even worse la.. the records were like those we've seen TIME and TIME again everywhere and not even updated?!?!?!?!?!?!

THe entertaining part was the funny mirror .. ha

Actually on the whole the place is nice.. cos Hollywood Highland shops are shiok!
