I LOVE NY!

Borrowed my friend's cam for A day where I was gona be meeting most of my friends...

DAY...

Met up with a friend whom I haven't seen for few years!

We ain't that close but cos the world's so small we bumped into each other sometime back...

We FIRST MET like in sec sch can.. when I was a guide and he was a scout.

OH! Which reminds me! It was the Guides' Thinking Day on 22nd feb! heh




Above left is the Grand Central Station which is really near my hotel...

Walked to Coach at Madison Avenue! Everyone got stuff, but only i went mad!

The new paper bag's so pretty!!




Check out the layer of snow in Central Park!!

There's a small sized zoo within... I took pics outside cos refused to pay the entry when i can see almost everything anyway.. ha

There's the clock chime and horse rides! US$34 per cart..

But there were 6 of us and the law only allows for them to carry max 4 so we gave it a miss..

See this machine! You pay bit of money and get to imprint some animal design ONTO a 1cent coin!! Cute.




AT 5th Avenue!!!

Been to NY a few times, but first time walking along this infamous posh street! Must check out Soho next time!

Behind me is Trump Towers.. i always see it on Apprentice! N Directly opposite it is Playboy Enterprises.. Hmmm.

Went into many shops to browse and here's where I got my Redken products!

The newly opened A&F located here too! but I didn't get any clothing from anywhere this time round..




St Peter's Church? I'm not really sure... ha.

It's just huge and grand and smack in the middle of 5th Ave..


NIGHT...

I took a real short nap while waiting for my friend to come over...




We then took the subway to his friend's place at Union Square...

Then we walked to B and 11th for dinner at Uovo....

Where my friend's friend gave us a treat!! yay. He's this magician who does gigs for celebs...




The food's delicious! N we had Port accompanying Cheesebuns dipped with Choco syrup for dessert, on the house!

We went to some pub for some drinks.. forgot the name...




We stopped over at this Forbidden City pub...

THe place is flooded with Asians! Is it really the name or what?

It could sound kinky if not for the affliation with China.. muahaha.




Took the bus to West Village to meet my other friends!!! My friend went with me..

First time im taking the bus.. must take pic to commemorate la... (ps my friend's cam not as gd as mine! no antishock and bulky!)




So here I am at 60 Thompson!!

We WALKED DAMN far cos the bus driver didn't give me the transfer to Metro!!!

Wanted to hail a cab but my friend jus walked on! Argh.

N it was hell cold lor!

But finally we got there and met my friends! So happy! they're damn funny la







We then took a cab over to this other place called 'Air'... Entry charge of US$20, with no drinks.

When i arrived , i saw like about 20 other asians! I dun noe them all, only some, but i think they're all Singaporeans too!

We wanted to head into another place but got ousted out cos group too big, so we went Air instead..

It was cool! NIce place, loud music and NO diluted drinks!

(Dun ask me why i kept stickin my tongue out!)

I tell you one reason why i love my job so much is cos i can fly and meet friends! I'll miss this when/if i quit.







I dragged my lazy arse out from the warm room and super comfy bed to eat pasta...

I love the chinese food near the hotel , been eating it so often i wanted a change..

Then to Pennymart to get dry stores and wats not.


My hp bill confirm EX to the MAX on this trip!!!!
