Silvercab Sucks

I'm SO PISSED.

Firstly, I was so beat from work, (I went delhi so like you can imagine)

Got into a SILVER CAB (usually I don't like to take them but no choice)

The driver DIN even Smile or offered to carry my bag.

N he's not like even old. (never mind)

He prob assumed i was one of those who stayed at Pasir Ris or Tampiness

But when i told him where i stayed, he seemed to heave a sigh of relief.

Ok fine, granted he waited damn long to pick up a customer.

Then he bloody HEARD my address WRONGLY and he made a long turn (sorry hor, my english can't be THAT bad)

N i guided him and he just like don't bother listening another two more times

At the end of it all, he didn't give me a discount!!!

Then i started complaining like hell. Then he say back somemore. (thou not in a DL way if not i sure go mad)

N usually in such cases I would kick up a fuss n GET my discount but i was lazy to this morning

Plus ive been feelin bit sympathetic towards cab drivers cos they make lesser now apparently.

But i sld have, cos now i'm damn irritated!!!

Think I'm just too tired to think straight la..

It is NOT the money, i mean, wat's $1, $2? but the ATTITUDE.

NO Apology whatsoever n he didn't even take my bag out for me.

Seriously WTH/ WTF.

Had seafood at the very famous AMK hawker with my gfs! It was one of the gal's bday!

Then went to Liquid Kitchen to chat up over NON alcoholic drinks...




Went to a friend's place for drinks...

It's not like houses in the states, but by singapore standards, it's HUGE la!

Like I've been to big houses but this is different man..

One ROOM is like a bloody Terrace house can! So the estate is made up of 3.. All these pics + here are his 'ROOM'

I FEEL SO FREAKING LOUSY!!!!!

(decided to not be so hard on myself since first time, so took out the 'disgusted' word)

All my time with the airlines I NEVER was late or missed going for a flight...

But i did so today. N it's to TAIPEI, when i've been anticipating to fly there for so long!!!!

I did head out last night for a bit, thinking that i had enough sleep the afternoon before and all...

N i wasn't even drunk. N I didn't get home too late. N am awake now. But so?

I FEEL LIKE SHIT. (Well i had diarrhoea so...)

Slap me now i know. It's not even the fact that it's Taipei or the allowance I cld get..

But that this is the most PER thing i've done/ has happened n i really beat myself for it.

Miserable...

(technically i didn't MISS the flight, i managed to report sick for it but still.... I quickly sent an email to explain, adding my totally unblemished record..)

My first week of Nov Blabs...

I watched "Departed" and went to sing Karaoke with some friends last Sunday..

I was SUPER bummed by the accident and my lost camera so i thought i'd hang out to like forget it all..

Till half way thru the K session i really felt pain when i stretched my mouth to sing, so my friend drove me to the clinic at 3 am..




This is how my face looked like 3 days after the accident...

I guess it doesn't look that bad on camera, but to me, it is jialat!! Got to wear specs n hide..

When i smile or chew, the skin ard that area is tight and all.. :( So some pics look like i'm squinting..





Had a halloween dinner with some friends at Dampsey..

In Sam's Curry though, not in one of the other posh restaurants.. ha

I wore the same top as i did last sat cos i'm DULAN i dun have a pic of it up on my blog,

since my camera GOT STOLEN... 'Black Widow' IS NOT a gd name, It's really JINXED! So I'm just normal today...

Borrowing my mum's old camera for now, need some time to get used to it..

Went to a K pub after with a couple of friends and we just chilled out...




My cousin had a stall in Hyatt hotel ballroom, kinda like a bazaar that Caucasians like to go to..

With my super cute nephews!!

Stopped by a stall that supposedly has this natural ingredient to whiten your skin in seconds..

I tried it on my hand la, but refused to sign up for any package or what..



Watched the movie, " The Guardian" which was highly recommended by my gf.. yea it was good!

Very heartwarming and my gf and i agreed that the ending was kinda like Armaggedon..

Went to geylang to have porridge and also went for an 'excursion' drive round.. haha





Checked out SFW at Expo.. it's for designers to showcase their designs for buyers etc..

My designer friend asked me if i wanted invites to go cos it's strictly a trade event...
so Much money's involved! One little area is like $4k already.. my friend said he spent bt $50k with the space and renovations!!!

TADA!! My designer friend and I ! His designs are pretty interesting!

I've known him for like 6 yrs now, not very close but he still remembers to sms me from time to time.. so sweet.

Met some Lasalle schoolmates who were helping out in the event too..




Ooh i LOVE watching Fashion shows!!!!

Which reminds me, I won't be in sg for my graduation from Lasalle,

totally BUMMED cos i've been dying to get up on stage to receive my cert!

But i'd either be touring Italy or Spain or Vancouver then so oh well!

Popped down to Velvet/ Zouk after....

World's small, i found out two friends whom i knew seperately are a couple now!!

I knew the gal in the MRT somemore, cos her friends and her were talking,

and I kinda chupped in my opinions.. haha

N they knew they know me cos of Friendster.. which i haven't logged on for eons! Prolly would soon or sth.. whatever..




3 of us went Roller blading.. at night's fun..

I got blisters cos my socks weren't high enough... grrr.

I guess i've got pretty good balance sense so i can blade w/o falling, guess it's cos i can ice skate,

but i wana blade faster and with more style!

bladed all the way to the jetty to see pple fishing..

someone caught a HUGE sting ray (tot of steve irwin then) and tied it by a string to the railing.. it really looked like it was gona die lor.. :(

someone else caught a baby sting ray too and took a pic with it!

i didn't bring my cam along and went up close to look and then it started jumping and i screamed.. haha




My right thumbnail got chipped cos of the roller blading so i went to get it fixed the next day..

Cos i went 3 days ago to do nail infill, so this time it was FOC..




Made dinner reservations with 4 other friends at Hanabi..

The sake with my name has been there for awhile liao and got to finish up...

This Shanghainese gal friend just came back from beijing that day from work.. she jus permed her hair..

So darn full, been eating heaps recently!!



Wana watch Deja Vu, staring Denzel Washington! I like his movies,

plus it's produced by Jerry Bruckheimer who does fabulous mystery/ thriller shows which i LOVE..

OH People! you MUST watch " The Notebook"!!! It's like my NUMBER ONE Romantic story in my books now man..

I watched it on DVD and just kept thinking .. " if only that kinda love exists..."

Down on Luck

Recent string of bad luck

probably started from 2.5 weeks back, some work issue. some b**ch on flt. but whatever.

then i had that one week M.C...

and even cab drivers can bring me to wrong places,

then some other things tt didn't go the way i wanted,

and now i'm at crossroads once again.

N now after some great fun after awhile,

i lost my fave cam which i just bought, and got tt nasty abrasion on my face.

I wasted SO much time from waiting to see the docs and all can!!

Had to reschedule all my appts and errands.. No facial for awhile too..

In short:

sunday 3pm: i saw doc for abrasion and head. recommended skull X ray n gave cream for facial wound.

3am: body ached quite a bit, went to doc again. recommended ribs X ray

and wanted to jab me to ease the pain, but i scared of injections so no.

monday: went to get X rays done and then to co. doc to get MC.

I think i spent 4.5 hrs in total waiting and all.

just gave me 2 days MC stating my body sld recover by then, though not my facial wound.

but ain't my work ABOUT my face???

tuesday: freaked out if the cabin air wld worsen wound, so went to see plastic surgeon for an opinion.

he said it sld heal in 2 weeks time but the previous doc gave me an unsuitable cream to use n gave another one #$%@!

He suggested i sldn't work but rest n wrote a memo to pass to my co. doc

went back to co. doc and got another 10 days MC.

Sigh. No work, no money..

wednesday: went to see TIE DA to rub my back.

Some other little crap irritating stuff happened here and there too besides ALL these...

Yea i know " It's LIFE" but Just hope nothing else gets worse..

I believe life's a sine curve, with its peaks and troughs,

N I know things could always be much worse, but enough already!!!!!!

BTW, to the PERSON who FOUND my camera and TOOK/STOLE it,

i'm sure there were ample pics in my camera for YOU to RETURN it to SOMEONE familiar

So I PRAY KARMA will get to YOU

plus the fact that i CURSE you in my EVERY WAKING MOMENT.

Return it to Me ASAP and i MIGHT ask for YOUR redemption despite causing SUFFERING to others.
