Rotting...

I've been a little under the weather and in bid not to let this escalate, i've opt to stay home. Plans and possible plans for the weekend thrown out of the window. Can't do anything, Missed so many things.. (ya when i'm not sick nothing much happens, then when i'm sick... argh) I need more DVDs!!!

I love Travel & Living on channel 16 on cable! Next to Discovery Channel of course... It just never fails to amaze me how much information is being conveyed thru the media (newspapers, tv, internet etc) Most of the info we need is quite out there, we just need to look for it, sometimes painstaking sieving thru the unnecessary ones.. ^&%$# I strongly believe that you can't ever know enough, there's no end to learning.. *KNOWLEDGE IS POWER*!!!

They mentioned students speaking in net lingo in papers today.. Well, i think singlish is already widespread in our country, as well as many abbreviations, but some net lingo, for example "LOL" is just super AH BENG/LIAN! I just can't stand certain phases, it's just eeeeks...
In any case, guess it's fine as long as people don't transfer all these funny ways of speaking on their exam paper or at work! Thankfully i've been able to separate the two pretty well..(yes i do!) If i ever wrote the way i speak, i'd probably would have been retained like forever! (blog excluded AR..)

There's DareDevil and CSI tonite!! I'm excited COS i actually borrowed the DVD from a friend, and it's kinda not well copied, so like 30mins into the show, it's like going crazy.. and then two days later, i saw that it's gona show on TCS5! yay!!




My friend's car in Adelaide! He just sent me the pic.. Everyone of my friends owns a 2 door car in Aus... yeap i'd be heading there next month... can't wait to meet him! It's my first time there, but i heard there's nothing much to sight see there but loads of places to chill/club/eat...

Oh pls let the riots in Paris subside, i'll be heading there next month too.. to see another friend! He hasn't replied to my msg, hope he's ok though..

Oh, Female 50 Most Gorgeous 2005 and Star Idol Contestants are out online! I see a few friends and familiar faces... Why i bother is cos my COUSINS (mum's side) are in them!

The finals for Most Gorgeous is on Fri, 2nd Dec at Zouk! I'd say the photography is def better than last year's! Everyone looks pretty good! My cousin's Number 20.. Funny, i never saw him as cute cute type, but maybe tt's cos i've seen him over the years since we were damn young! He won some pageant thing in uni and got some modelling contract.. plus he's real smart so heard he's quite well sought after!
