Lovely London

Did not go Spotlight. Ha.

Felt nuah and decided to stay home after the visit to my uncle in hospital in the evening.

He's getting so much better now I'm so happy. :)

Anyway, the pics in London last week! The weather was really lovely!

My friend just got his own shop space and moved in on 1st April!

Too bad i JUST missed his opening in Chinatown...

So proud of him! He has made a big step by moving out of the rented and shared shop to having his own..

Yeap he deals mainly with handphone services and accessories..

N his own two private toilets! yeah. His internet wasn't set up yet so i couldn't surf like how i did b4 at his old place..

But he bought a DVD for me to watch.. About this shopaholic.. but actually it's quite abit on life and choices..

TowKay!

He brought me to this jap joint for lunch.. the servings were SO BIG!

He's always bringing me to different food places to eat whenever I go to London.. :)

I wanted to walk around, see what I can buy.. but HE ended up buying this pair of expensive jeans!

I didn't get anything.. N now he said I am a 'stirrer'. ha

Stopped at Cafe Nero for some hot chocolate and people watching along the Soho area...

Went to meet a friend who got posted to work in London for a few years...

This is a pic taken at Notting Hill station..

Reminds me of the movie, "Creep", which btw, was like one of the most CRAP movies I had ever watched!

Thank God it was on DVD my colleague brought along some weeks back and i didn't have to pay a single cent for movie ticks or what..

He decided to bring me to this high class restaurant for dinner.. yay!

ALong the way we saw this row of houses, reminded me of the set on Desperate Housewives!

Actually in the area, there were quite a few buildings with this range of bright pastels..

Definitely by the same developer who probably was trying to get into the trend of things.. ha

Here we are! The Italian cuisine's really good and I had my fave creme brulee!!

I swear, this is the BEST i've ever tasted!!

The restaurant's concept is kinda like Mezzanine at Scotts.. Opened where you could see the chefs cooking..

The name of the restaurant is Electric!

My friend sent me back to my hotel and I was supposed to meet some of my colleagues for drinks..

Told them to give me 15 mins after I got back but i dozed off.. was really beat.

Decided to find Princess Diana's Memorial Fountain the next day...

Had Indian lamb curry and biryani for lunch near the hotel first.

Made a colleague walk with me.. we walked so much and so far.. N having the lakes and water nearby jus made it real cold..

No one really knew where it was.. It wasn't like really known, which was kinda sad considering i thought she was the sweetest..

Finally!!! It's just this roundish shape fountain.. that's all! No pictures no nothing...

But still, i placed down this little bouquet of flowers I got for Princess D...

Rest in Peace. Truly.

I went to meet another friend at Burger King, Picadilly Circus area.

Haven't seen him since july last year!!! He has put on a few pounds.. heh

Walked through Carnaby street where the 'in' fashion shops were located...

Wanted to try tea in this reowned tea shop but ended up at Costa!

I LOVE their Hot choco! It comes with marshmellows and whipped cream!! :)

Checked out Topshop! It's the LARGEST shop in London!!! Like 4 HUGE levels!!!

I kinda liked this top i tried but it's pretty ex, like S$110! Not worth it. Material was way too thin and shrinkable...

Bought this other top though.. heh

Took the bus to Camden town where I wanted to head to and it so happened my friend stays in that area as well!

I kinda find the shops in Camden town really interesting.. New Age Funk.

But it's become more commercialised now.. many of the weird stuff are not ard anymore... bah.

I bought this pink luminous wrist band from Cyberdog! For Raving. heh (but now upon looking at it, doesn't seem so nice already)

My friend decided to cook dinner for me so we went grocery shopping... Yea he likes to cook!

Here's his hostel..

He's got such a good deal! They ran out of single rooms so he was given a double room for the price of a single!

Used the internet.. it's free there!

Yummy.. I'm so lucky i had two guys who cooked for me last week! haha.

Hopefully there'll come a day where the women worked and men JUS stayed home. tee hee

My friend accompanied me on the tram back to hotel..

He asked me to bring a pair of shoes back for his sis.. i did, since he was pretty sweet to me la..

Was staring at this ad with baked beans on bread in the subway.. My friend said the Europeans really like to eat their bread like that..

I never knew! ha. Was wondering why they had this WHOLE ad just like that...

Met my mother's friend at the hotel lobby to pass him some stuff he wanted from my aunt and mother.. N then brought some other stuff back..

I should start charging for delivery! ha.
